Vehicle Image Watermarks and Automatic Image Resizing

Many modern digital cameras do not support taking photos with smaller dimensions such as 640x480, 800x600 and in some case 1024x768 pixels wide. When using vehicle images on the Internet, larger dimension images generally have too large of file sizes to allow consumers to view them quickly (long load times). Additionally, larger dimension photos require the user to scroll left and right and top to bottom to see a single vehicle image.

Who wants to go through each vehicle image with a 3rd party utility and resize them? No-one. Time is money. DeskLot can automatically resize the vehicle images as they are added to the vehicle record in DeskLot. No interaction is required by you the user. To enable this feature, go to the "Settings" screen via "File" and then "Settings" and click the "Vehicle Images" tab.

Vehicle Image Watermarks
Do you want to brand your dealerships vehicle photos with image watermarks? Create a graphic that you want to lay over vehicle images in either a jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, wmf, emf, pcx, tga, tif or tiff file format. Then use the settings screen to setup the watermark properties. You may select to have either no vehicle images watermarked, only Photo #1, or each photo. As you add vehicle images to the database for vehicles in DeskLot, DeskLot automatically adds the watermark images to your vehicle photos with no interaction required by you the user, and no need for 3rd party utilities.
